The flag of Washington D.C. is displayed boldly on this grunge-texture license plate. The design for this flag actually comes from George Washington's coat of arms. The coat of arms was first given to Washington's great-great-great grandfather in 1592 in England. Washington is known to have used this coat of arms on his property of Mount Vernon. The flag was adopted as the Washington DC flag in 1938. If you are looking for a more unusual flag to display on the front of your vehicle then this is the auto plate for you.
