The flag of Oregon is displayed boldly on this grunge-texture license plate. Oregon is unique in that it is the only state with an image on both the front and back of its flag. For this license plate only the front is displayed. The words, "State of Oregon" arch gracefully over the top of the flag with the date, 1859,the date of Oregon's statehood, at the bottom. The state seal is in the center. The sun sets over the Pacific ocean while a British ship leaves and an American ship arrives (representing the change in power over the state). There is a covered wagon for the Oregon Trail and a plow and wheat sheaf for the sate agriculture. Above the seal is an eagle and around it 33 stars representing Oregon becoming the 33nd state. On the back of the flag is a beaver representing the beaver trade that used to be very prosperous. This auto tag is a great way to display the Oregon flag on the front of your vehicle!
