The flag of Arkansas is displayed boldly on this grunge-texture flag license plate. The symbolism in the Arkansas fag is of some interest. The 25 small stars in the border of the diamond represent that Arkansas was the 25th state to join the Union. The lone star above the text, "Arkansas" represents Arkansas having been part of the Southern States. The three lower stars represent the three countries Arkansas has belonged to: France, Spain and the U.S. The diamond shape represents that, until recent times, Arkansas was the only state that produced diamonds.
