The flag of Alaska is displayed boldly on this grunge-texture flag license plate. The Alaska State fag is one of the simplest in the country bearing the design of the big dipper and the North Star. The design was chosen from about 700 entries from school children across the Alaskan territory. The winner of the 1927 contest was a 13 year old orphan boy by the name of Benny Benson.
