This "Sovereign Citizen Exempt" plate is our novelty version of the unauthorized homemade tags used by the "Sovereign Citizen" movement. These plates are illegal to use as real state issued plates, and should be used only for decoration, gifts, or vanity tags on the front of vehicles. Using these plates to replace state issued tags will result in traffic stops, citations, or your vehicle being towed.

Plates utilized by sovereign citizens typically look distinct from legal plates, as they lack the state-specific decals and imagery. Some common plates read "private," "exempt," or "traveler." Most are black or white, with one of the more famous plates sporting a planet earth logo with the words, “Peace on Earth, good will toward men."
