License plates in Albania were largely implemented in the late 1950s beginning with communist rule under Enver Hoxha. After the collapse of communism, eventually the modern Euro-tag style was introduced. This modern design has now been in use since 2011.

Our Albanian novelty Euro tag is available in two color schemes. Both feature the double-headed eagle in black colorations. The double-headed eagle is featured on the Albanian Coat of Arms. Choose from a blue background with "AL" at the bottom of the eagle, or choose from a red background (red being the official color on the Albania coat of arms).
