The Kurdish people, an ethnic group in the Middle East, have fought for years to establish their own land. This license plate features the official flag of the Kurds.
Each of the colors have significates; red stands for the blood of the martyrs and the struggle for freedom, white is for peace and equality, green represents life, vitality and and the beauty of Kurdistan. The yellow sun stands for light and life. A yellow border has been added to the flag design to bring the colors all together.
