Desert Shield was the name for the operations leading up to the actual conflict of Desert Strom. This conflict has also been known as the Persian Gulf War. The war was started over disputes with Kuwait's oil production and the subsequent Iraqi invasion of Kuwait. The Gulf war is one of the shortest wars in American history, lasting just 7 months.

This license plate is UV and fade resistant. Outdoor service life is approx. 18-24 months. Indoor service life is indefinite.
