The official star and bars insignia roundel of the U.S. Air Force was first placed into service in 1947. Our version of the insignia on a license plate does not have any white elements. The white has been replaced by a brushed metal/silver look. In the background are radial stripes that subtly draw your eye to the center design on the license plate.
The full-color version is not commonly used on aircraft today, but rather a subdued low visibility version (think black and white colors) is used.
USA made. All metal with gloss finish. Handmade with care in Tennessee. This license plate is non-reflective.
This license plate is UV and fade resistant. Outdoor service life is approx. 18-24 months. Indoor service life is indefinite.
Plate dimensions are standard for U.S. plates (6" x 12"). Unless otherwise noted, all license plates are not embossed but are flat metal.
22 Gauge high-quality aluminum will never rust! (20 gauge available). Our novelty replica plates are not intended to replace state issued plates.
